Clinical Associate Professor Ahmad is a graduate of Monash University Medical School, Victoria and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) with sub-specialist training in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery in Australia and the United Kingdom. He was also a fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine.

- Haemorrhoids: HAL RAR (Ultrasound guided haemorrhoidectomy)
- Anal Fistula: VAAFT (Video assisted anal fistula treatment)
- Anal fissure: (lateral sphincterotomy)
Hernia
- Inguinal /groin hernia (Laparoscopic (key-hole) or open)
- Femoral hernia
- Umbilical /ventral hernia
- Incisional hernia (hernia after an abdominal operation)
- Recurrent hernia (after a previous repair)
- Recti diastasis (abdominal separation)
- Abdominal wall reconstruction (surgery for complex hernia)

What to bring
When you come to your appointment please bring your:
- Medicare Card/DVA Card
- Private health insurance card (if you have one)
- Your doctor’s referral to Mr Ahmad
- Any relevant test results (blood tests, x-rays, scans).
